Nigerian music star, Wizkid has scored another high by releasing another amazing collaboration from his Ojuelegba hit song. The newly signed Glo brand ambassador recorded the remix featuring some of the finest acts in the global rap scene, American rapper, Drake and Grime artiste, Skepta. The song is poised to push Wizkid into global reckoning once more.
American rapper, Drake was said to have gotten wind of the song from another foreign artiste, Skepta and liked the beats making him to follow Wizkid on social media, Instagram and then went ahead to do the remix. Now following the release of the remix, colleagues and fans alike have been showering encomiums on the singer through the social media for bringing in recognized musicians like Drake into the song and sharing in his fan base.
MI through his twitter account @MI Abaga praised the ‘On Top Your Matter’ crooner penning these words: “Drake jumped on a wiz record!!!! Ahhhh!!!! Ayo!!! You are blessed!!! F**k To those who hate you.” Another called Jags with @Etnie explained how the collabo came to fruition. “Skepta hooked with Drake, played him some jams, one of them being Ojuelegba. Drake felt the jam and posted about it on I.G.”
However, a good number of Wizkid’s fans have dismissed Drake’s lines as boring and not adding value into the song. According to some, the remix was dry while some couldn’t just get over the thrill of Wizkid and Drake’s voice blending in over a duet. @masEzechukwu named Taker wrote, “The Ojuelegba remix didn’t actually blend well. Just sounded off to me. Big ups to wizkid FT Drake is Big. But the song fell flat.@swizz_boy wrote, “Ojuelegba remix is tooo dry oh!!! Drake unkilled it!
