Video: A man beheaded in suspected terrorist attack in Woolwich, South East of London( Viewer discretion is warned, video could be disturbing)

A British soldier was beheaded Wednesday on a London street in a “sickening and barbaric” attack by a pair of machete-wielding jihadists, officials and witnesses said.

The brazen and heinous slaying occurred in broad daylight in front of stunned witnesses, who said the attackers screamed “Allah Akbar.” British Prime David Cameron Cameron said the atrocity appeared to be “terror-related.”

 With his hands soaked in blood, one of the attackers was filmed on the street right after the attack and made a chilling claim of responsibility.

"We swear by Almighty Allah we will never stop fighting you,” said the attacker, wearing a black watchcap and holding the bloody machete in his left hand. “The only reason we have done this is because Muslims are dying every day. This British soldier is an eye for an eye a tooth for tooth.”

He made it clear that he and his vengeful partner had set out to kill a soldier, staking out the Royal Artillery Barracks in the southeast part of London called Woolwich and randomly targeting their victims.

Witnesses said the soldier was wearing a T-shirt reading “Help our Heroes” — A British military charity.

The violent pair, who were also armed with guns and knives, screamed “Allah Akbar” or “God is great” as they hacked the soldier to death, decapitating him, witnesses told British media. They then waited calmly until police arrived.

As sirens of police cars raced toward them, the talkative suspect halfheartedly apologized to women who witnessed the murder.

“But in our lands our women have to see the same thing,” he said. “You people will never be safe. Remove your government, they don’t care about you.”

Within moments, cop jumped out of their cars with guns drawn. Both suspects were shot and wounded by police. They were both taken to the hospital, one in serious condition.

“We saw two knives, meat cleavers, they were big kitchen knives like you would use in a butcher’s,” a witness, who would only give his name as James, told LBC radio
