Man arrested in Kogi state, Nigeria for killing his 4 months old son for rituals ( Viewer discretion, Video can be disturbing)

The police command in Kogi state have arrested a middle aged man, Mr Hosea Folorunsho in Egbe town of Yagba West local government council for the alleged gruesome murder of his son for ritual purpose.

Briefing journalists on the arrest in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital, the Commissioner of Police, Mr Mohammed Katsina says the suspect, a herbalist, also buried the child in a shallow grave in his own compound.

The state’s Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Katsina while parading the suspect, Chief Hosea Folorunsho, at the state command headquarters, Lokoja-the state capital, disclosed that on the 31st of December 2012, the herbalist killed his son for alleged ritual.

Narrating the police investigation, the police boss, Mr Katsina disclosed that on the New Year’s Eve, at about 11:55PM, the suspect quietly took the baby named Sunday Folorunsho who was asleep in the middle of the night and murdered him in gruesome circumstances.

He added that having accomplished his mission, the suspect dug a shallow grave in his compound and hurriedly buried the corpse of the baby.

The police escorted Mr Folorunsho to his compound where the baby’s corpse was buried and he was then asked to exhume the corpse.

Digging out the corpse of the baby, he handed over the body to a pathologist who conducted an autopsy on the dead baby.

The autopsy result read that the child died of multiple fractures through the application of blunt object and trauma.

The 48 year old suspect, a native of Egbe in Yagba West Local Government Area (LGA) of the state is married with three other kids.

Super Model Naomi Campbell robbed in Paris

 

Supermodel Naomi Campbell suffered a torn ligament in her leg after she was violently attacked and robbed in Paris last month. Naomi was set upon by a group of thugs after she tried to hail a cab in the French capital in December. 

A source told the New York Post: 'It was terrifying. Naomi believes the assailant had been watching her, casing her out, and waited for a moment to strike when she was alone. She was attacked in the street as she hailed a cab, and robbed.
'Her leg was injured as she was violently pushed to the ground. She was understandably very upset and shaken up.'

 
It is unclear what the thieves managed to take from Ms Campbell, but it has been suggested they were trying to steal valuable jewellery she was wearing at the time.

The 42-year-old's billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, used his private jet to fly her to Vail, Colorado, where she was treated by J. Richard Steadman, one of the world's leading orthopedic surgeons. 

The model has been using a wheelchair and crutches to get around following the attack, and Vladimir has increased the size of her security detail as a precaution.

French police are currently investigating the incident, and have apparently asked the model not to speak publicly about her ordeal.

Former Bayelsa State Govonor, Timipre Sylva's house seized by The EFCC

 

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, released a statement yesterday saying they have seized 48 properties belonging to the former Governor of Bayelsa state, Mr. Timipre Sylva who is being prosecuted at a Federal High Court in Abuja for alleged misappropriation of N6.46 billion state funds when he was governor of the state. 

EFCC said: 

“Assets belonging to the former governor against which a forfeiture order was obtained by the EFCC include a mansion at 3 River Niger Street, plot 3192 Cadastral zone AO, Maitama District Abuja; nine units (comprising six one bedroom and 3 two bedroom apartments) at 8 Sefadu Street Wuse zone 2, plot 262 Cadastral zone AO2, Wuse Abuja; 2 units duplexes at 5 Oguta Street, plot 906 Cadastral zone Wuse 11 Abuja.

Video: Ghanaian and AC Milan sticker Kevin Prince Boateng stop match due to racist chants from spectators

 

Ghanaian and AC Milan striker Kevin Prince Boateng walked out of a friendly match against  an Italian 4^th side football club,  Pro Patria.

Because of racist chants.

The former Tottenham and Porstmouth player who had the ball in his procession  in the 25^th minutes of the game stopped playing , grabbed the ball and the kicked it  towards a group of fans in the stands.

According to sources the racist chants had been going on earlier in the game with some Pro Patria players trying to stop them all to no avail, which caused Prince to react.

After the incident Prince Boateng walked out of the game with his team mates joining him, which brought the game to a stop when it was obvious to the referee that the game can’t continue.

After the game Kevin took to Twitter to express his anger.

Reasons why D'banj and Genevieve Nnaji's relationship ended

Nigerian captain Joseph Yobo visited the children at Hearts of Gold Children's hospice in Surulere to make donations and spend some time with the children.

Joseph gave food stuff, a generating set, and a lot of other stuff as part of giving back to the society through his charity organization. Joseph said:

Lagos State government donates N4.5m to sick actress, Ngozi Nwosu

Lagos State government  gave actress Ngozi Nwosu N4.5million to help with the treatment she needs urgently. The actress has been battling with a kidney and heart-related ailment for a while now and needed N6million for treatment abroad. She raised N2million from well meaning Nigerians a few weeks back and needed N4million extra.

Davido and manger Aas Asika parts ways

After almost two years of working together, Davido, 20, and his manager Asa Asika, 22, (center) have parted ways. They reportedly ended their working relationship a few days back but none of them have said anything about it yet, though they've both changed their Twitter bios.

I'm trying to find out what really happened between these two as there are a few versions of what led to their break up. One version claims that Asa was dropped because Davido has become too big an artist for him (Asa) to handle. Another version claims Davido assaulted Asa over money.

Osaze Odewinge apologies for his Twitter rants on Keshi

Osaze Odemwingie has said he regrets his sensational Twitter comments, which he made after Coach Stephen Keshi left him out of Super Eagles preliminary list for the 2013 Afcon camp in Portugal. The player said Keshi was not fair to him.

However, the England-based forward said his mistakes were made in a fit of anger after he had made it known to his coach and colleagues that he was set to travel for the Nations Cup in South Africa.
