Another bomb blast in Nigeria claims lives

         

                              
There has been a bomb blast in Jalingo capital of Taraba state of Nigeria killing 10 people. It occurred near
near government offices in the city centre and parts of the finance ministry building were affected.

The incident which occurred about 9 a.m this morning appeared to have been targeted at the convoy of the state's Commissioner of Police. Ibiang Mbasike, the spokesperson for the Police in Taraba has confirmed the attacks.

The blast which happened barely 24 hours after the Bayero University Kano bomb blast claimed the lives of three police officers,many have been seriously injured as the blast happened during the early morning rush hour. It is not known if the commissioner of police Usman Gwary who was among the convoy survived it but the suicide bomber,a dispatch rider and nine others have been confirmed dead.

Meanwhile another bomb was detected this morning and successfully defused in Yola the capital city of neighbouring state Adamawa,while reports reaching us states that there may have been at least two other bomb blast in Gombe,the capital city of Gombe state and in Borno state capital,Maidugri
