In  a phone interview with James Iheanacho, father of Kelechi, on SuperSport Monday Night Football,  he denied asking FC Porto for  1,000,000 Euros to sign the MVP of the just concluded under 17 FIFA   World Cup as against the rumoured 250,000 they offerd . He claimed he never accepted his son going to FC Porto and blamed it all on agents trying to make fast money from the teenager.

When asked about the where about of his son who was reported missing  for the past 3 days, he said the player went out with his cousins, but he is back home as at the time of the interview. He also said the family will have a meeting to decide the future of the player. He was asked where he wants  his son to play and  he said he wants him to play with Manchester City, but the decision will be taken after the family meeting tonight 25th of November 2013-11-25.

This will put the speculations of his 250,000 Euro move to FC Porto and Arsenal to rest, as rumours had it that Arsenal had their scout at the tournament monitoring the boy and where ready to snap him up after the tournament.

I will keep you guys updated on this news as I get more stories from  the out come of the family meeting
