Photo: Youth corper nearly lost her hand to hoodlums in a vicious attack (Viewer discretion is highly warned, gory and graphic pictures, could be disturbing)

Folakemi Akinbode, an NYSC nurse attached to the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital, Okolobiri, Bayelsa state, was viciously attacked by a group of still unidentified hoodlums on Monday August 5th around 9pm on her way to the corpers' lodge.

Folakemi was returning from her shift in the hospital when the hoodlums attacked her with a machete. Her right hand was nearly severed. Fortunately she survived the attack. That is her above after surgery.
