A witness told cops he
saw the £3.2million-a-year French defender, 35, having a slanging match with
wife Nadege in front of their home. Nadege, 31, fell into the hedge and an
ambulance was called to take her to hospital for treatment.
Shocked Peter Lenczuk,
38, said: “They were arguing, but I couldn’t understand because it was in
French.
“Then I saw her fall
into the bushes.”
The witness said
Nadege had arrived at the house in her car early in the morning and shouted at
her husband from the front door.
Gallas then came out
and began yelling back at her. Read more after the cut
“It was really
horrible,” he added.
Gallas followed his
wife to hospital and drove her back to the luxury home in Hampstead, North
London, in his Jeep hours later. Shielding his wife from a photographer, he led
her into the house before driving off again.
The former Arsenal and
Chelsea star married Nadege in France in 2009.
The couple, who first
met as teenagers, have two children aged six and four.
He also has an
11-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Gallas refused to
comment to The Sun on the incident.
Police confirmed they
had received a complaint of a “domestic incident” close to the couple’s
address.
A spokesman said:
“Inquiries continue and there have been no arrests.”
In 2008 Gallas was
removed as Arsenal captain after criticising team-mates. He left Arsenal in
