The Movie, Last Fight To Abuja Makes N8million In One Week



One of the most talked about movies in Nigeria and the UK currently released, Last Flight To Abuja, has netted over N8m at the Nigerian box office, just one week after it was premiered in the  Lagos State.

The movie, last flight to Abuja, written and directed by Obi Emeleonye an award winning producer of The Mirror Boy, Nollywood most awarded movie- is the only African movie this year that has been able to compete at the Nigerian box office with the very best from Hollywood.


According to comparative Nollywood 2912 cinema release report released this week, Last Flight To Abuja grossed N8.35million in it's first week, with an attendance of 9,638 as against Phone Swap which sold N3.72million in it's first week and recorded an attendance 3,859, Married but Living Single made N2.35million with an audience 2,602 and finally Maami which netted N3.30million with 2,602 in attendance.
Obi Emeleonye's previous movie, The Mirror Boy made N6.98million with a recorded attendance of 7,501 in it's first week on release in Nigeria. The only movie to have beaten this record is the Return Of Jennifer with N10million in it's first week
