Rihanna was among 300 people evacuated from the Corinthia
Hotel in London after an early-morning fire broke out in an elevator shaft.
The 24-year-old “We Found Love” singer tweeted news of the fire
early Wednesday to her Twitter followers, posting a picture of a fire engine
and the words:
A London Fire Brigade spokesman told the Press Association that
no one was injured in the fire, but the flames did cause a bit of damage to the
seventh floor.
Rihanna
has been in London for several performances, including BBC Radio 1′s Hackney
Weekend concert series.
