The first ever edition of the Nollywood Movie Award took place on saturday, 2nd June 2012 at the civic center, Victoria Island, Lagos State Nigeria.

Comedian Julius Agwu and actress Kate Henshaw  were the host for the event engaging the guest in an interactive session, with a blend of comedy from Julius Agwu .
