Drunken man drives his lexus into a swimming pool

A family's early sunday morning sleep was rudely interupted,when a car ran through the cinder block and  straight into there swimming pool.

A man named Modesto Carbral, 40, of La Puente was charged for driving under the influence of alcohol. The incident happened at 5.25 am on Bradley street at Orange Avenue,according to California Highway Patrol Officer Steve Licon.

"We were woken by the dreadful noise and looked outside and a car was in the pool" said Janell Diaz, 16.

"We had always joked around about it that someone was going to end up in the pool because they have hit our wall before" she added.

Cabral suffered only minor injuries the High way Patrol Officer Lincon said.

After the car, a 2006 lexus GS430 went into the pool,Cabral the driver climbed out throught the right front window,added Lincon.
