During an interview with CNN, the hip hop heavy weight showed his support to gay marriage.
When he was asked to give his thoughts on the same sex marriage,he said"I've always thought it as something that was still holding the country back,What people do in the privacy of their homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you want to. That's their business. It is no different than discriminating against blacks. It is discrimination, plain and simple".
When asked if Obama made the move for political reasons,he said "I think it is the right thing to do. It's not about votes,it's about people. It is the right thing to do as a human being"
Also Lady Gaga and Alicia Keys used Twitter to show their support.
Lady Gaga wrote "Feels like the future and not the past" and Alicia Keys wrote, "Well honestly it's about time "
