Another Nigerian celebrity takes a dig at up coming celebrities

The other day, it was Uti Nwachukwu and now it’s Singer Liami Philips, who posted an article on her blog and called it celebrity mumunisim where she taled about  Upcoming celebrities and their lies and fake life.
See the article below
Now whenever upcoming “celebs” post pictures with other established “celebs” in clothes from a stylist they have paid approximately 20k or so and with bling that aint quite bling….talking about “ we outchea making it happen”…then wait till after the function to hitch a ride knowing they squatting at some friends place and don’t know where their next meal is coming...I tag that as mumuism. The interesting thing is that this “mumuism” has a snowball effect. Other people see it and want to be like them and quit school or work in the hopes that they also can one day take pictures with these people.
At the risk of sounding like a sour grape…when all is said and done…common sense will never be outdated. I don’t see the sense in creating a false image of success at the detriment of your own peace of mind.

Zimbabwe tells Nigerian traders to close down their shops by 1st of January 2014

Zimbabwean authorities say they have given foreign shop-owners – mostly Chinese and Nigerian nationals – an ultimatum to shut down their businesses by 1 January.

A top official of the black empowerment ministry said only Zimbabweans had the right to run shops that have sprung up across the country and are termed foreign businesses targeted under the nation’s black empowerment laws, the state-controlled Herald newspaper reported Friday.

Those laws, passed in 2007, demand foreign businesses to cede 51% control to local blacks.

The foreign shop owners have been criticized for taking retail trade opportunities from Zimbabwean traders by selling cheap imports.

Poor townships and city flea markets have in recent years been inundated by shops run by foreigners.

According to state media, shop owners who fail to comply will be arrested.

A 32-year-old Lebanese, identified as Jack Sankary, whose hobby is to have carnal knowledge of under-aged girls in Akure, the Ondo State capital, South-West Nigeria, has been nabbed by police detectives.
His recruiter, Patience Godwin, has also been arrested and I hear she is currently undergoing interrogation at the state CID, in Ondo State. Patience was arrested at her hideout in Odopetu area of Akure metropolis, while another 14-year-old girl that she was about taking to the shameless Lebanese was rescued.

Also, a middle aged woman, Chinwe Chinasa, was arrested for allegedly trafficking six young girls to Libya for prostitution through Ondo State. The command image maker, Wole Ogodo, said after the raid on the hideout, it was discovered that the six young girls had been prepared for the journey to Libya.
The girls say they were virgins
Some of the girls confirmed that the suspect deceived their parents that she was going to help them look for jobs and not prostitution. They alleged that they were virgins before they were lured into the illicit business of prostitution by the suspect, Chinwe Chinasa.
The girls were said to have pleaded with the police to temper justice with mercy since they were deceived into the trade. But police say all the parties will be charged to court and it’s the court that will decide.
