The Pop star has inked his second endorsement deal with the Nigerian telecommunications company after weeks of deliberations. D’banj now joins the likes of heavyweight contemporary musicians Psquare as well as recently unveiled ambassadors Naeto C, M.I, Lynxxx, Bez, Burna Boy, Flavour, Waje, Omawumi, and little known Chee.
Insiders tell us the deal is ‘unbelievable’; with those familiar with details saying it may be one of the costliest signings of 2013. Exact figures were not immediately available. ODUAHGATE: Jonathan Holds Secret Meeting with NSA

A credible source in the seat of power told Source that there is a desperate plot to cover up the mess created by Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah with her N255million bullet proof cars.

But the source say the report of the House of Reps committee where Stella was indicted and a call made for her sack is giving the presidency serious troubles. Consequently, President Goodluck Jonathan and the National Security Adviser, Col Sambo Dasuki had a secret meeting in Aso Rock on Wednesday...

Dasuki is a member of the three-man administrative panel set up by Jonathan to probe Stella over the N255m cars purchased for her by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, as confessed by her aide.

Dasuki came out of the secret meeting at about 5.40pm and was immediately driven out of the Villa. The NSA office is be saddled with the responsibility of approving amoured vehicles before they can be imported into Nigeria in the first place. But Stella never obtained such approval.

The NSA refused to speak to journalists who approached him for comment on the next action.

The  Source however revealed that the plot now is to test Nigerians and see if they will forget about the scandal like others in the past. But if Nigerian's continue to speak out, Stella will be asked to resign but she will remain in Aso Rock as a senior aide of the President as a compensation.

Enugu state First Lady denies being detained by husband, Gov Chime

Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu State on Tuesday night denied subjecting his wife, Mrs. Clara Chime, to house arrest and has vowed to protect her from being exposed to ridicule. Chime made this denial in the presence of some journalists, his wife and her elder brother, Mr. Tony Igwe.

Also present were the governor’s siblings, Mrs. May Oji and Dr. Jide Chime, as well as Mrs. Chime’s neuro-psychiatric doctor, Dr. Aham Agumuo, among a few others. At the interview session, the governor’s wife denied sending any petition to the National Human Rights Commission alleging unlawful detention by her husband.

She also denied hiring the services of Mr. Femi Falana to seek her freedom from an alleged house arrest at the Governor’s Lodge, Enugu. Continue

Falana had claimed in his letter to media houses and the Inspector-General of Police that he was engaged by the governor’s wife to seek her freedom from alleged house arrest.

The state governor, however, stated that it was “so disturbing” for him to speak out publicly about his wife’s health challenges.

He vowed to do all within his power, no matter the personal pains, to protect her from ridicule.
“Well, my wife has some medical challenges and it would be very unkind for me to talk about her condition on the pages of newspapers.

“I have done everything to protect her integrity and I’m not now going to expose her to ridicule because some people want to exploit her situation to drag me into a needless war of words,” Chime said.

Tonto Dikeh and Genevieve fights over the koko master D'banj

According to Source, controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh is seriously on the verge to remove Genevieve Nnaji from D'banj's heart and occupy the space. I hear she is giving her all to the affair, which started secretly few weeks back but the whole thing has been exposed.

Genevieve is said to be very bitter because she sees Tonto as a younger sister and could not believe that she of all ladies will go behind her to be having an "affair" with a man D'banj who she is trying to get back...

What is actually giving some people concern is the fact that Tonto Dikeh dated Don Jazzy when he and D'banj were still working together. But Tonto doesn't give a damn over what Genevieve or anyone think.

Don Jazzy not smiling as he fights with Wande Cole over new song

Naija musicians don't really know how to manage long standing relationship. Recall that Dr SID was very fast to start insulting D'Banj in spite of all he benefited from D'Banj simply because he wanted to gain Don Jazzy's favour and remain in his team. Anyway, Wande Coal who was one of those that stayed back with Don Jazzy has since moved out and started his own record label.

The problem now is that Don Jazzy is accusing Wande of stealing his latest hit track, Baby Face, from him and it appears the matter is getting out of hand.

EXPOSED: Goodluck Jonathan’s Wasteful Pilgrimage To Israel

The recent pilgrimage jamboree embarked on by President Goodluck Jonathan and some State governors is a sad reminder that our public officials are not ready to push religion into the private sphere where it rightly belongs. It is also another high point of an unwarranted waste of public funds; a deepening of the culture of profligacy more than being an exercise in piety.

It is a wrong step to continue to spend public funds on jaunts, especially at a time when government is claiming to be short of cash. Staging an ostentatious show at a time that calls for sobriety, the President turned a purely personal religious affair into a state matter, taking with him several governors, cabinet members and other government officials.

Motorcycle stolen in 1967 is found in 2013

In February of 1967, a 1953 Triumph Tiger 100 motorcycle was stolen from a man's backyard in Omaha, Nebraska. More than 45 years later, that same bike was found by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents at a Los Angeles port.

The bike had been on its way to Yokohama, Japan when authorities from Customs decided to take a closer look, the Orange County Register reported. Upon seeing that bike's vehicle identification number (VIN) matched a bike that was reported stolen way back when, agents seized the bike.

The bike, estimated to be worth around $9,000, was then sent to California Highway Patrol who tracked down the owner, now 72 and still living in Nebraska.

Via the OC Register:
Lou Koven, special agent for the National Insurance Crime Bureau, who was in charge of finding the owner, said the owner was in disbelief and shock when contacted about the motorcycle, which had an estimated value of $9,000. When it was stolen, the bike was worth $300.
"He thought I was scamming him," Koven said. "But then the police contacted him, and then he started believing."
Los Angeles Weekly reports that this type of find isn't as rare as one might think. Todd C. Owen, CBP director of field operations in Los Angeles, said that CBP agents have recently intercepted two other vehicles stolen at least 20 years ago.

Via  L.A. Weekly:
"CBP officers and their law enforcement counterparts check many outbound vehicles on a regular basis. Their success in recovering stolen vehicles is remarkable. A few have nice stories like this one.
Omaha.com spoke with the bike's owner, Donald R. Devault, who explained that the bike used to look a lot different. "Back then it was baby blue and it looked like a little toy chopper," he said.

He told the paper that he's looking forward to the reunion. “I’m going to ask her, ‘Where have you been?’ I bet there’s a lot stories she could tell me,” he told Omaha.com. “I wish she could talk because a lot’s happened in 46 years.”
