Uche Ogbodo reacts to Afrocandy's offer to feature in her porn movie

This is what Uche said in responce to Afrocandy’s offer :

I, Uche Ogbodo, emphatically state that I am an actress and not a porn star. The fact that I was just experimenting and having fun with the 'Lady Gaga' red hair photo shoot is not an excuse for the likes of AfroCandy to insult me.

If I ever decide to strip in a movie, trust me, it'd be worth it like Halle Berry did in Monster's Ball and Swordfish. Right now I am in talks with a reputable artiste management outfit to represent me and re-invent myself.

Shoprite Lagos state, under treat by Boko Haram

Shoprite, a South Africa's chain store operating in Nigeria, is under severe threat from suspected Boko Haram terrorists.

Police confirmed they are investigating the matter after text messages were sent to employees of the retail chain, threatening to blow up an outlet in Lagos.

Terrorists warned they had planted some explosives in fruit juice packs at one of the Shoprite outlets.

Part of a message obtained by CAJ News reads, “It is true, we do not deserve amnesty.  You will even be surprised how we got your number. We came to Shoprite on a mission to drop a bomb. That day, we sowed bullet into Five Alive packs. We are from Niger. Someone gave us your number from Abuja. We will make sure we destroy every Shoprite.”

The Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police Command, Ngozi Braide, confirmed the threats.

Investigations have begun to ascertain the identity of the sender, she said. Shoprite has received similar threats in the past, warranting the closure of some shops.

However, the threats proved to be empty.

This is not the first time a South African firm is being targeted by terrorists in Nigeria.

Last year, MTN facilities in some northern parts of the country were destroyed by members of Boko Haram

12 people, including a white man, have been arrested in Kenya for shooting adult videos with a dog.

The eleven women were reported to have been having sex with the dog, a German Shepherd which belonged to the white man.

The ladies took turns with the dog, while the white man recorded the scenes.

Following their arrest, police have confiscated the tapes and they will be used as evidence when the 12 are arraigned in court.

The 36-year-old welterweight - considered the best defensive boxer of his generation - topped the magazine's Fortunate 50 list, issued on Wednesday. Mayweather also took the top spot last year, earning an estimated $85 million, again from just two fights, the magazine reported.

Superstar actress Angelina Jolie reveals she removed two of her breast to prevent Cancer

Angelina Jolie has revealed she had Mastectomy, which is the surgical removal of  one ore both breast partially or completely, to reduce the risk of developing breast cancer.

The 37 year old actress according to doctors has a defective gene, BRCA 1, which they said will increase her  risk of developing breast cancer to 87% and her risk of ovarian cancer, which killed her mother at the age of 56, to 50%.

The breast removal and reconstruction  took about 3 months from February to April 2013 now reduces her risk of breast cancer to 5 %, and she said:

 “ I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer. It is reassuring that they see nothing that makes them uncomfortable. They can see my small scare and that’s it. Everything else is just Mommy, the same as she always was, And they know that I love them and will do anything to be with them as long as I can. On a personal note, I do not feel any less of a woman. I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes me femininity.”

Rumours have it that Nollywood actress,  Chioma Toplis  is having issues with her husband cause he suspects that she is cheating on him and also she spends time with her numerous lovers in Nigeria and have only little time to spend with her family.  

Well am sorry to bust their bubbles. From a very reliable source, I can say and am very sure that Chioma is a  hard working, devoted and dedicated  wife and mother of  three who is happily married . As a matter of fact, it’s all lies, there is no element of truth in the rumour and I know the people that know her very well can say yes to this.

 As for her boutique and fashion business, well she is waxing strong by the day and I  believe a lot of people can testify to this.

Boy stabbed to death by a girl he was trying to rape

MAY 5, 2013 was Onyinyechi Orakwuelum’s 18th birthday. It was a day she turned an adult, going by the Nigerian constitution but it had left a tragic mark in her life. It was a day she was pushed into committing an act she had never imagined. She could perform. It was a day she allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old boy, Akinwale Ayobami, who she claimed wanted to rape her, to death.

The teenager, Orakwuklum, who is currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Iyaganku, Ibadan, where the homicide section is trying to unravel the mystery of how the story of the two classmates turned round, and led to the death of one of them.

The pregnant girls rescued from the baby factory in Imo state, narrates their story

The Imo State police command rescued 17 pregnant teenagers from a baby making factory in the state this week. (Read the story HERE ). Below is an update on the story from The Nation..

Nine girls, forced into pregnancy at a ‘baby factory’ in Imo State ,yesterday spoke of how they became victims. The nine were arrested by the police yesterday after initially escaping during a raid of the ‘baby factory’.

Their arrest brings to 26 the number of victims rescued from Ahamefula Motherless Babies Home, Umuaka in Njaba Council Area of the state. They are aged between 14 and 25.

Most of you have read the story, but just to remind you. On Tuesday April 30th, a 25 year old bricklayer named Akinloye Anuoluwapo slit his ex-girlfriend's throat, a 21year old girl named Rafiyat Akinyemi, then had sex with her as she bled to death in her father's house at Ogijo in Ogun state. 

The girl had dumped him and that was too much for him to take. He went to her house armed with a knife and attacked her. Akinloye (pictured above) explains what led to the killing... If you missed the story, you can read it HERE
