Aluu 4: Arrested suspects gives account of what happened on that faithful day the students were murdered

The 13 suspects arrested in connection with the murder of four UNIPORT students have been charged before a Port Harcourt Magistrate on a five-count charge of conspiracy and murder and were yesterday remanded in prison till the case comes up again in December. The Nigeria Police Force has also dismissed the policeman who was part of the mob that killed the students. The policeman has been identified as Lucky Orji.

The First Lady who came back into the country today from her 2-months medical trip has denied undergoing cosmetic surgery in Germany. When asked by reporters at the airport tarmac if that was what she went to Germany for, Patience Jonathan vehemently denied it was  on STV 10 0'clock news and below are her exact words.

Nigerian billionaire business man Ifeanyi Uba still in detention for the 2nd week

The billionaire businessman and MD of Capital Oil and Gas Ltd is currently in a small cell at the Special Fraud Unit in Ikoyi. He was arrested on October 9th following accusations of fraud totaling N43billion from the Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede led presidential committee on verification and reconciliation of fuel subsidy payments. The committee discovered gross abuse by many marketers and reported the case to the police. His company leads the list of 25 companies indicted by the committee which discovered about N62 billion of subsidy fraud.

So he's now facing criminal investigation and prosecution for Capital Oil and Gas' involvement in fuel subsidy fraud. He was in court yesterday and the Special Fraud Unit of the Nigerian Police told the court that the money stolen by Mr Uba, could conveniently pay the monthly allocation of 11 states of the federation and asked the courts not to grant him bail, which they didn't. The case was adjourned to Monday October 22nd.

Meanwhile, his company has been blacklisted by banks on the recommendation of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

I have restrained myself for a couple of years from commenting on Tonto Dike's career after my last comments about her role in the soft porn movie she acted in two years back, were badly taken by her and she went on twitter to hurl infantile insults on my person with expletives and uncomplimentary remarks. My reaction to such then was just a dignified silence. After all, I had already spoken on her stunted talent as an up and coming actress and further comments on her incensed tweets were unnecessary.

The killers were paraded yesterday and one of them told newsmen that two police officers came to the scene of the killing; one of the policemen pleaded with them to stop, while the other one encouraged them to continue. The guy with glasses is the Aluu community chief, Alhaji Hassan Walewa.

By the way, the police didn't announce that Coxson Lelebori Lucky has been found. They mentioned that two more suspects were arrested today, but didn't give names. So until they officially announce it, Coxson is still a wanted man, in case anyone out there has any information. The names of the suspects are:

Former Super Eagles of Nigeria Goal Keepr, Peter Rufai Slumps in his office, hospitalised

 

Former Super Eagles goal keeper and captain, Peter Rufai, yesterday night suddenly slumped inside his office.

The football Icon, 49, was rushed to Toki Hospital off Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere where doctors are doing everything they can to stabilize him. His younger brother Bruce Rufai said he's yet to come around and doctors don't know yet why he slumped.

Bruce told sports journalist, Kayode Tijani, that Peter has been taking the death of their 78 year old mother badly since her passing some days ago.

News have been going round the internet about popular comedy actor Nkem Owoh, a.k.a Osuofia, trying to intimidate a poor widow and take her only land which her husband left for her and her kids before he died, Though most people didn't really believed it as they thought it was culled from one of his movies. Inspector General of Nigerian Police Force says why the poilice couldn't help the 4 Uniport student that were murdered in Aluu

 

In a bizarre explanation of how four students of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) were lynched in Omukiri-Aluu area in Rivers State recently, the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed D. Abubakar, today stated that when the armed policemen arrived at the active scene, they were prevented from saving the students by a mob which threw stones at them.

“Consequently, the Patrol Team called for reinforcements, but unfortunately, upon the arrival of the reinforcements, the alleged armed robbery suspects have been stoned and burnt to death, while the mob immediately took to their heels,” Mr. Abubakar said in a statement which he signed personally.

Actors Guild of Nigeria(AGN) in disarray as actor Emeka Ike allegedly makes trouble for Ibinabo Fiberesima

The body of Nollywood actors known as the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) is racking up more controversy than necessary as actor Emeka Ike has  described as a fraud the just concluded elections of the guild that propped up former beauty queen, Ibinabo Fiberesima as its first female president.

Emeka Ike who has always been at war with members of the guild, is also notorious for his battle with immediate past AGN president Segun Arinze, which saw the end of Segun’s tenure after a botched election in Benin in April 2012.

Now the rabble rouser is at it again and this time the newly sworn president of the AGN, Ibinabo Fiberesima, is his target. Emeka Ike is telling all who care to listen that she cannot be president of the guild.

This whole bullshit is becoming a norm in our country Nigeria, some unscrupulous elements taking the laws in their hands as if they are saints, the other day it was the Aluu killing , now it's molesting a girl. The young lady in the video was stripped naked for stealing in Shop rite, in Lagos Nigeria according to source and because of that she was humiliated. I am not in support of what she did, if at all she did it, but why not hand her over to security rather than taking laws into their hands. This is sad, you can see some pervs. taking advantage of the poor girl. May God have mercy on us all in Jesus Name.
