Man sleeps in Coffin
An octogenarian, Samuel Kogberegbe, told journalists on Friday that he has been sleeping inside a coffin for over forty years now.
Kogberegbe, the founder of Holy Michael Church of the Lord (Aladura), in Egbe, Lagos, who spoke as part of activities to mark the church’s 50th anniversary which holds on Sunday, 3 June, 2012, said he had slept in the coffin to remind himself of life’s vanity and that one day, he would die.
He said his action was also to teach Nigerians to be conscious about death and thus change their negative ways of life. “I believe that death is certain and I am going to end in that coffin,” he said.
The cleric also declared that former President Olusegun Obasanjo was correct to have called Nigerian lawmakers armed robbers at a function in Lagos recently. According to him, Obasanjo’s description of the country’s lawmakers as armed robbers was correct in every sense of reasoning.
He accused the lawmakers of not having any feeling for the suffering masses that voted for them, and warned church leaders to abstain from evil practices, claiming that only through this would they be able to salvage the country.

Shocking: A girl of 10 years old said she cannot go a day without sex
A 10-year old girl who was a victim of sexual abuse has made a shocking confession, saying that she cannot do without having sex with men daily.
She narrated how an old man, who was their neighbour at Mile 12, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, lured her into sex at seven and since then she cannot resist having sex everyday.
The primary two pupil said if she did not see any man to have sex with her in her area, she would go to a popular under bridge at Mile 12 Lagos and beg for sex from touts.
She said she came from Enugu state to Lagos to live with her aunt after the death of her father.
Her case has become so serious that she had to be referred to an NGO, Community Health Support and Empowerment Initiative, COHSAEI, which has taken up the challenge to rehabilitate her.
The little girl said she was lured into sex by a man she called Baba who lived with her aunt in the same compound.
She said the man (Baba) usually called her to his apartment whenever his wife and her aunt were not around and will put his finger inside her private part.
“He will tell me to come back home immediately our school closes and when I reach home he will be waiting for me to finger my vagina,” she narrated.
She said with time he started having real sex with her.
She said when the man that initiated her into it moved out of their area, she resorted to meeting other men in the area without her aunt knowing.
She said she has become addicted to sex and cannot do without it.
“When I desire sex and I do not see anybody to do it in my area, I will go under the bridge and beg the touts to do it for me,” he said.
Her predicament came when she confessed to her teacher what she was going through after the teacher noticed some abnormal behaviour in her.
The teacher contacted her aunt who contacted an NGO for assistance.
The programme coordinator of the NGO, Mrs. Priscilla Ingbia, noted that her case was very pathetic because of her age. She said her group took up the challenge to rehabilitate her because it was clear if nothing was done urgently her future was in danger.
She said her organisation has started the process of rehabilitating her by carrying out series of tests on her to ascertain her health conditions.
Ingbia stressed the urgent need to relocate her from her present environment and start a new life for her.
She said her organisation has not been able to do so because of the financial cost of doing so.

Charly Boy lashes out at Gay / Illuminati reports
Charly Boy has threatened to sue two publication which reported he is gay and a member of the Illuminati
On Sunday, May the 26th 2012, the National Mirror and Daily Independent newspaper published an article making the allegation, quoting from a Danfo Newspaper.
Charley Boy took to his Twitter account on Monday 28th saying "Yesterday i was an Illuminati, today a gay, tomorrow, sleeping with a coffin and the list is endless. When will they stop all these lies" ?
The 60 year old musician says he usually keeps quiet regarding media allegation but it looks like he is ready to break his silence by threatening to take legal action against National Mirror and Daily Independent.
"I read with total dismay in Saturday's Mirror newspaper that I am Gay and the head of Illuminati in Nigeria. I have never sued but this time........." said Charly Boy. He continued " I am very sorry but this action is necessary just to avert future unverified story by my most learned Journalists ! My words.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian Idol judge's press secretary, Mr Adoyi Ali, has sent a letter to the MD of National Mirror Mr Steve Ayorinde, alerting him of Charly Boy's plans to take the case further and demanding they remove the article withing 72 hours.
The letter reads:
Re-I’m Gay “-Charlyboy”
I write to draw your attention to a story released on your paper on Sunday, 26th May, 2012 titled’ I’m Gay-Charlyboy’.
I’m well aware of how close you have been with the charly Boy brand since the past 25 years, and how grounded you have been in relation to the Charlyboy persona. This invariably shows that you have been able to follow the Charlyboy Brand all through your career in the field of journalism. Such display of interest and continuous curiosity to know more about the mission, vision and the character of the brand is worth commending. This is in exception of your positive contribution to the brand since the inception of your paper (National Mirror).
However, I’m a little disappointed that under your watch, such irresponsible and malicious story with such screaming headline could be published, maybe in the bid to draw traffic or encourage readership of your paper. I’m simply amazed!
What amazes me the most is your little understanding of the character of the Charly Boy brand and the reason with which it was established. You of all people should know that if truly he is gay, he would have been the first person to come out, screaming on top of his voice, even in market places defending gay rights. He wouldn’t have needed any newspaper to fight the authority over his right. Yes, you and I know that, yet you let the story out without much consideration on its effect on the brand that mentors young people.
I’m pained not because a rumour was just speculated that CB is gay and head of Illuminati in Nigeria, but I’m touched due to the fact that you called it a ‘confession’ through a fictitious interview that was never published in your paper or any other paper. If you could conclude that he is gay because of an interview culled from another paper, you should have balanced the story by insisting on hearing the other side. You are respected in the Charlyboy organisation as one of the few credible journalists.
We are aware of your fight in the past for integrity and respect, so it is obvious why I can’t hide my disappointment that this irresponsible journalism happened under your watch, in the most unprofessional manner
Anyway, I should hope that you have a copy of the original interview granted by the Areafada where he admitted being gay on tape.
On our own part, we cannot control people’s opinion in a matter such as this, but to have come out to state categorically that Charlyboy granted an interview in relation to this issue is not only scandalous, but ‘human slaughter’. Your paper has gone beyond the boundaries, and would have to answer some basic questions as to how this story got to it. At the moment, one can only believe that Charlyboy’s interview is presently on tape and on your desk as claimed.
I would like to remind you again that the brand is a seasoned Journalist and understands the minutiae of Journalism and cannot be rubbished by any newspaper.
Having said this, I want to assure you that the Management of the brand will definitely ask questions in order to avert such libellous story in future, because this recklessness in journalism must stop!
Yours Faithfully,
Adoyi Abah Ali ( CB Press Secretary).

Rape stories in Opi, a community in the university town of Nsukka, have occupied major national dailies, hitting banner headlines, from the three quarters that make up the community, Idi, Ogbozalla and Ibeku.
In 2011, the story of the rape of women between 70 and 80 years spread like wild fire in the country, raising eyebrows on the motive for such inhuman and barbaric act by, especially, youths of the community. Some of them were fingered and allegedly arrested, interrogated by the police but could not be persecuted because of want of evidence.

Nollywood super actor Yemi Blaq reveals five intriguing things about him
Adding an extra year to life on earth is an act of grace and mercy by our creator and calls for celebration to express thanks and gratitude. The actor added a year on May 20th and decided to have a tete a tete on five intriguing questions:
Does being you- married, handsome, and a father- make acting tougher or easier?
My job takes a toll on one emotionally and seeing the duplicity of that in family life I have dichotomized them both as not to place too much of a strain on me. Fortunately, my wife is a writer, and is very aware of the challenges that exist in the industry. She realizes the demands and helps me anchor myself better.

You have a passion for music too. Is it going to remain a hobby or are you going to make a career out of it?
Let’s just say, I will not leave Earth fulfilled if I don’t have at least one album out.
Let’s just say, I will not leave Earth fulfilled if I don’t have at least one album out.
You have always been very picky with your movies. We don’t get to see you as often as we would like to on screen. Is that the game plan?
With the dearth of good scripts one has to take a break from the mundane to work with artistic integrity. I am trying to build a portfolio of good work it is imperative that any such sloppy addition will be pruned off. In five words: “Yes, it’s the game plan”
Do you get bored with Nollywood sometimes?
I never get bored with Nollywood, we are operating below capacity on so many levels and lack a lot that’s necessary. Since necessity is the mother of invention we are always inventing…that makes for a lack of boredom.

Health: Benefit of Fish oil to Human health
The health benefits of fish oil include the following:
Heart Disease: According to the American Heart Association (AHA), clinical trials have proved that omega 3 is effective in reducing the incidence of cardiovascular diseases (CVD). Fish oil, which is abundant in omega 3, therefore, reduces the risk of heart diseases and heart arrhythmias. It lowers the levels of LDL cholesterol, which is bad cholesterol, and increases the HDL levels, which is good cholesterol. Fish oil prevents accumulation of triglycerides and further reduces the levels of excess triglycerides. Preliminary research has also shown that fish oil can be used for preventing atherosclerosis in coronary patients. Thus fish oil is effective in treating heart strokes and regular usage of fish oil can help avoid numerous sudden cardiac deaths. According to the American Heart Association, these preliminary findings should be confirmed by detailed research.
Weight Loss: Fish oil also aids in weight loss process. Research conducted byProfessor Peter Howe at the University of South Australia has shown that fish oil improves the efficacy of exercise in reducing weight. Volunteers who were given fish oil diet showed greater weight loss as compared to those who did not consume fish oil diet. Exercise combined with fish oil had a positive effect on the body shape and body composition of the patients
Immunity: It is believed that regular consumption of fish oil aids in increasing your immunity thereby enabling you to resist incidence of common diseases such as cold, cough and flu. Omega three fatty acids present in fish oil benefit the immune system by effecting cytokines and eicosanoids present in our body. Researchers have also studied the effect of fish meal and fish oil on the immune system of pigs and found that fish oil aided in the growth of the animals. Similar research conducted on mice at Taichung Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan, also gave positive results. Thus fish oil has the potential to enhance the immune system of humans. Fish oil is also beneficial to patients suffering from lupus, which is a disease characterized by the attacks of immune system of the body on various organs and tissues. Fish oil helps in reducing the pain and inflammation that may occur in joints, eyes, kidney, heart, blood vessels, lungs, nerves, etc. It also helps in reducing associated fever, skin rashes and fatigue.
Inflammation: Fish oil has anti inflammatory properties; therefore, it is effective in reducing inflammation in blood and tissues. Regular consumption of fish oil supplements, tablets, pills and capsules is helpful to those suffering from chronic inflammatory diseases. Fish oil is effective in treating gastrointestinal disorders, sprue, short bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) including Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis, which are typical disorders of the intestine. Patients suffering from Crohn’s disease find it difficult to absorb vitamins, fats and essential supplements. Fish oil supplements are an effective diet for such patients. In ulcerative colitis, fish oil prevents the accumulation of leukotriene on the colon. It should be noted that the anti inflammatory properties of fish oil are limited to reducing inflammation. Fish oil provides little effect in preventing inflammation. Research is also being conducted to enhance the anti-inflammatory action of fish oil by addition of other dietary supplements and drugs.
Skin Care: Fish oil helps in improving the condition of poor and dry skin by making it shinny and glowing. It is useful in treating various skin problems such as eczema, psoriasis, itching, redness of skin, skin lesions, and rashes. In case of psoriasis, the EPA present in fish oil restricts the growth of pro-inflammatory agents by producing arachidonic acid. Fish oil can also be applied topically to obtain relief from psoriasis. Regular intake of fish oil capsules helps in reducing loss of moisture from the skin. It is also claimed by some people that fish oil helps in preventing sunburns.
Pregnancy: Fish oil is very useful for pregnant women as DHA present in it helps in the development of the eyes and brain of the baby. It helps in avoiding premature births, low weight at birth, and miscarriage. Research conducted in Denmar l&Nbsp; which involved 8,729 pregnant women, concluded that diet with low amounts of fish resulted in higher risk of premature or preterm babies. It is also believed that women who do not have a sufficient intake of EPA and DHA in their diet suffer from depression after birth as there is transfer of some amount of brain mass from the mother to the child in the last stages of pregnancy. Moreover, as mentioned above, when pregnant women are given fish oil supplements, the born kids show enhanced coordination between eye and hand. Thus it is very beneficial to consume fish oil either by eating fish or taking fish oil supplements, tablets, capsules, or pills during pregnancy for the overall development of the child and well being of the mother. However, it should be noted that fish oil obtained from the liver of the fish, example – cod liver oil, should not be consumed during pregnancy as cod liver oil is rich in retinol and Vitamine A
Fertility: Preliminary research conducted on boar has shown that when male boars are fed with diet containing fish oil, the quality of the sperm is enhanced. After ejaculation, the sperms have increased survival against lipid peroxidative attacks in the female genital tract, thereby increasing the chances of conception. On the other hand, similar animal studies have shown inhibition in the synthesis of prostaglandin E and prostaglandin F, which are produced in large quantities by human seminal vesicles. The research found no impact in the count and mobility of sperm.

Wife beats husband any time they have a disagreement
The Agege Grade ‘A’ Customary Court was thrown into laughter recently when a petitioner, Alhaji Azeez, openly told the court that his wife, Mrs. Idayat Azeez, beats him each time there was any disagreement between them in the house. The petitioner also added that his wife gave birth to four children and all of them are wayward due to the fact that she loves her work more than her family. He said: "I will never forgive my wife because she beats me so much to the extent that we have not been sleeping together on the same bed again for some time.” He pleaded with the court to caution his wife because she was the one controlling him in the house and does not allow him to discipline the children over their bad behaviour.
Reacting to the petitioner’s claims, his wife, Idayat Azeez, confirmed that she used to beat her husband whenever they fight, but for a reason. She said any time there is disagreement between them; her husband’s elder sister usually throws out her belongings from her matrimonial home. The woman added that her husband abuses her anytime she reports the children’s behaviour to him.She also added that he does not give the children money for food. Mrs. Azeez said she had to treat her husband that way because all the responsibilities are shouldered by her, including the maintenance of the house.
On his part, the president of the court, Mr Emmanuel Sokunle, advised that any disagreement between the couple should not be made known to their extended families. He urged them to train their children well because "they are the future leaders". Case adjourned.
Hahahahahah, na wah for this kind man, well he deserves it if he allows the wife to run and take care of the family, then he should accept any treatment he gets from her.
Let hear your opinion. Please leave your comments. Thank you

Man throws 9 year old daughter off 1st floor balcony in London UK
At about 11am this morning, I heard noises from the neighbour's house, a male and a female's'shouting on top of their voices, I never really bordered checking what was going wrong as I felt it was none of my business until my friend rushed into the leaving room to the sitting room where I was and told me that the man next door just threw his daughter off the balcony, initially I thought it was all jokes, so I didn't go to check what was happening until I heard siren from police and ambulance that I knew how serious the incident was. I rushed to the window only to see the police and para-medics surrounding the girl and then took her into the ambulance and while the police match the man away in cuffs. What am not really sure is the condition of the child but I just hope and pray she survives the fall
